Math 5 Week 1 Homework

Students are to complete p.291 and 292 chapter 8 review. The following links are online manipulatives that teach the relationship between perimeter and area:

 It’s important that students recognize that rectangles with the same area have lengths and widths that are factors of the area. Eg A= 12 should have rectangles : (l=1 w=12), (l=2 w=6), (l=3,w=4).

Critical Challenges 6/7 Homework week 1 March 23-27

An introduction to the UN is the homework for the first week. This is a stand alone assignment that doesn’t require students to have attended the first class to complete it. You will find a copy of it in the download folder located in the sidebar of this website.
