Welcome to photography term3!
This term we will be exploring the various tools and effects that come with Adobe
Photoshop Elements software. This is a newer software marketed for consumer use with a user-friendly interface and a terrfiic organizer built right in.
Today, students explored some of the tools available for use on a blank palette and experimented with taking some photos. Many students requested that they be allowed to bring their own cameras and take pictures at home as well. This is terrific! My only condition would be that the cameras be a least 3 megapixel resolution and that students bring a cable or docking station to load their photos onto the Lochiel computers. Alternatively, they could bring a cd or flashdrive to school with the pics already loaded (jpeg only please). Studetns are to begin thinking about a quote, proverb, or definition (yes as in dictionary) they’d like to illustrate through a photograph.
